Warranty Policy

Last Updated: September 30, 2026

BLS Hardware supplies sofa hardware and furniture hardware to B2B customers, including furniture manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and OEM/ODM buyers.

This Warranty Policy provides general principles for product quality and warranty-related claims. The specific warranty terms applicable to an order may be stated in the quotation, proforma invoice, sales contract, purchase order, approved specification, or other written agreement.

1. Product Quality

BLS Hardware aims to supply products according to the specifications and requirements agreed for each order.

Before production, buyers should confirm the relevant technical requirements, including where applicable:

  • Product model
  • Dimensions
  • Material
  • Finish
  • Mounting configuration
  • Functional requirements
  • Packaging requirements
  • Approved drawings or samples
  • Other project-specific specifications

2. Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage applies only to defects or non-conformities covered by the applicable order agreement or written warranty terms.

Warranty coverage does not automatically apply to problems caused by:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Improper use
  • Use outside the agreed application
  • Modification or alteration after delivery
  • Incorrect assembly
  • Excessive loads or operating conditions beyond the agreed requirements
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Corrosion or environmental exposure outside the agreed requirements
  • Damage during transportation where the applicable shipping responsibility has transferred to the buyer
  • Failure to follow applicable installation or product instructions

For customized OEM/ODM products, warranty evaluation will be based on the agreed technical specifications and approved samples or drawings.

3. Warranty Period

Any applicable warranty period will be confirmed in the relevant quotation, sales contract, purchase order, or written warranty agreement.

If no specific warranty period has been agreed, the buyer should contact BLS Hardware regarding the applicable terms for the product and order.

4. Inspection Upon Receipt

Buyers should inspect products as soon as reasonably practicable after receipt.

Where there is visible damage, incorrect quantity, incorrect product, or another apparent shipping or product issue, the buyer should notify BLS Hardware promptly and provide supporting information.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a warranty or quality claim, please provide:

  • Order or purchase reference
  • Product model or description
  • Quantity affected
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or videos showing the issue
  • Relevant installation or application information
  • Production batch information where available

For technical issues, additional information may be requested to determine the cause of the problem.

6. Evaluation of Claims

BLS Hardware may review the submitted information and, where necessary, request additional photographs, videos, samples, measurements, drawings, or other technical information.

A warranty claim will be evaluated based on the agreed product specifications, application requirements, evidence provided, and applicable order terms.

7. Remedies

If a claim is confirmed to be covered by the applicable warranty or order agreement, the appropriate remedy will be determined according to the relevant commercial terms.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include replacement of affected products, corrective action, repair where applicable, credit, or another mutually agreed solution.

The specific remedy will depend on the nature of the issue and the applicable order terms.

8. Customized Products

For OEM/ODM products, the buyer is responsible for reviewing and approving applicable drawings, samples, specifications, and functional requirements before production.

Changes requested after approval may affect product performance, compatibility, cost, or warranty coverage.

9. Installation and Application

Furniture hardware should be installed and used according to the applicable product requirements.

Where a product is integrated into a larger furniture system, the furniture manufacturer or installer is responsible for ensuring that the complete furniture assembly is suitable for its intended application.

Product-specific technical requirements should be confirmed with BLS Hardware before mass production when necessary.

10. Contact Us

If you believe a product has a quality issue or you need clarification regarding warranty coverage, please contact BLS Hardware and provide the relevant order and product information.

We will review the issue based on the applicable product and order terms.
